Poster Session Description: The poster session is an opportunity to share academic research regarding innovative, promising, collaborative, and creative program practices focused on supporting the health and wellness of youth from birth to young adulthood and their families. All community partners are invited to submit proposals for review. Some examples include college and university-based scholars and student researchers, youth and family initiatives, awareness and advocacy groups, community collaborations, evidence-based treatment programs and other service provider agencies, as well as family, youth, and professional associations, across the Commonwealth.
Posters addressing diverse topics focused on promotion, prevention, and intervention strategies in the context of the System of Care Standards are preferred:
* Youth driven
* Family driven
* Integration of child-serving systems
* Natural and community supports
* Cultural and linguistic competence
* County Leadership Team
* Youth and Family services and supports planning process
* Evaluation and continuous quality improvement
Presenters will be asked to prepare a “poster” for display that will highlight the featured innovation, collaboration, practice, or research project to share with a diverse audience including youth and family, community and professional attendees. A brief handout should also be provided, and presenters must be available at the poster session to talk with conference attendees about their poster.
Size and format specifications will be given following acceptance of proposals.
