Introduction

Thank you for volunteering on Team Baylor College of Medicine for the BP MS 150 team. Without the hard work of all the volunteers we could not have a successful weekend. Below is an outline of duties needed for the event. Please complete the following survey to choose which duties you would like to be assigned to MS 150 Weekend and to events leading up to the event.

Event Dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29, 2018

Fundraising Coordinator

- Helps to ensure all riders meet their minimum goal of $400
- Helps Team Baylor College of Medicine meet team goals 
- Assist with team fundraising event

Volunteer Coordinator
 

- Manages all volunteers to make sure we have enough at each location and they are there on time.
- Answers any volunteer questions

Truck Loading

- On Friday, April 28 we will have a truck parked at McGovern campus for riders to load their baggage in for La Grange and Austin.
- Must be able to lift and transport bags weighing up to 30lbs.
- Will be 3 shifts during the day.

La Grange: (10 Needed) 

- Volunteers in La Grange will arrive around 9am Saturday morning to the campground.
- You will spend the night in La Grange Saturday night and will be done once everything is broken down on Sunday.
- Duties include setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, putting up lights, accommodating the needs of the riders, making sure all the food and drinks are restocked on the table, cheering on riders as the come into La Grange.
- La Grange is very fun!

Circuit of the Americas/ Finish Line: (6 Needed)
- Volunteers in Austin will leave Houston Sunday morning to get to Austin around 9am.
- Duties will include setting up tent, setting up tables and chairs, cooking a small lunch, handing out finisher shirts to BCM team riders, accommodating riders before they go home, breaking down.
