Nonprofits, sign up for space at the 2018 Conscience Fair

The 2018 StarNews Conscience Fair will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, in the lobby of Cape Fear Community College's Wilson Center, the performing arts hall at 703 N 3rd St.

Cape Fear Community College will supply tables and chairs.

Load-in is 8 to 9:30 a.m. that morning. It's important that you be in and set up by 9:30. Spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis that morning.

JROTC volunteers will be on hand to help with load-in and load-out. We expect load out to be completed by 3 p.m.

Nonprofit organizations will present information about their programs and volunteer opportunities. There is no charge for the nonprofits or for attendance. This event is courtesy of StarNews Media and our partners.

We ask that nonprofits commit to staffing their tables for the entire 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. public hours. It's disappointing to people who come toward the end to be greeted by empty spaces.

We need the following information from participating agencies. Please avoid mistakes in spelling, and give a correct phone number and a valid e-mail address that the public can call for information about your organization.

WRITING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is unnecessary and a bit annoying. Please use your shift key wisely.

We will make the information available to the public, so be careful in entering your information.

Survey Monkey does not send out automated responses. If you complete the questionnaire and hit DONE, you're included.
