Thank you for taking the time to nominate an event for the TBI Triathletes Choice Event Awards.

The questions below ask for your nominations for the 2018 "Triathletes Choice" Best Triathlon Events in four categories. Nominations will be accepted through December 20th. Shortly after that the top nominees will be announced, and voting will commence to choose the award recipients from the top nominees. The winners will be honored at the of the 2019 TBI Conference in Tempe, AZ, January 25-27, 2019. 

The “Triathletes Choice” award criteria encompasses events around the world.  Please read the qualifications under each event category.  In general, nominated events should:  (1) challenge, inspire or bring out the best in participants; (2) create an atmosphere of fun, excitement and energy; (3) go beyond the “call of duty” when it comes to customer service, great organization and information, reasonable fees, coaching/advice, race day assistance, great volunteers, and/or; (4) raises money for charitable causes. 

In the 4th category, "Time to Tri Award for Best First-Timer Event", the event MUST FOCUS on first-timers with an event goal of increasing participation in the sport by making is more accessible to kids, women, paratriathletes and other athletes who have never tried the sport.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  If your nominated race is produced in several locations under the same name, you MUST include the City name as part of your nomination otherwise it will not be counted.

Prefereably a first-time event, or an addition to an existing set of events so that kids, women, paratriathletes and first-timers have an enjoyable first-experience.)
