Athletics Australia 2018 Team Staff Nominations

These notes and the attached forms are for anyone wishing to be considered for appointment as a Team Coach or Team Manager on an Athletics Australia representative team in 2018. 

- Prior to each event the tour’s Team Leader, in consultation with the High Performance Director, will select the team staff from the Pool. In selecting the team staff for any particular tour, AA will consider the likely team size and event disciplines that need to be covered, the age profile and gender mix of the touring athletes, the overall staff gender mix, the available budget and succession planning for key roles and so on. 

- Team staff positions are very limited, we expect more applications than team places so not every applicant in the Staff Pool will have an opportunity in 2018. 

- In general, Team Coaches and Team Managers are voluntary positions, however AA will provide appropriate accreditation and team uniform and will cover travel and accommodation costs for the tour.

Any changes to the approval/selection process will be distributed via the HP Newsletter distribution list and published on AA’s website.
