Some things to consider before you register

This program requires a time commitment of approximately 31 hours; 5 hours of on-line training and 26 hours of in-person training. Certificates of Participation, required for the Prevention Specialist certification, can only be awarded to those who attend and complete the full 31 hour course.

Please bring a copy of your Certificate of Participation for the on-line Introduction to Prevention as validation that you have completed that section.

Certificates for the in person Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training will be sent to you via email at the completion of the 4 day in-person course.

Please note that registrants who do not notify the trainers that they will not attend will be excluded from registering for the next Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training.
