Welcome to the Speaker Agreement for the 2018 Siemens PLM Connection - Americas. Congratulations on being selected for this year's event - we look forward to hearing you speak this June in Phoenix!

Present in an engaging manner. PLM World requires educational sessions to engage attendees in an interactive and adult learning environment. Interaction between presenters and audience sharing of ideas/solutions/experiences, peer-to-peer discussions/learning, etc. makes the session's content personal, meaningful and immediately valuable to our participants.

Speakers are encouraged to share their ideas with PLM World staff for participant engagement before, during and after the session.

Options include:
  • Small group work during the session

  • Crowdsourcing session content through LinkedIn prior to session
  • Providing supplemental resources to session attendees

Material contained in the presentation will not violate nor infringe upon the proprietary or statutory rights of any person or entity, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent or intellectual property rights. Speaker agrees that the presentation material does not constitute an invasion of anyone's right to privacy; and will not libel, slander or defame anyone in making the presentation.

  1. Speaker agrees to allow PLM World at its discretion, to record and broadcast session. PLM World will notify speaker prior to conference if session will be recorded.
  2. Speaker agrees to allow PLM World to rebroadcast session at its discretion.
  3. Speaker agrees to submit presentation materials, prior to the event, and allow PLM World to post them after the conference on the PLM World website behind the member password-protected area.

  • WiFi available in each room (for speakers only - separate from conference attendee WiFi)

  3. Click the top of 3 buttons on the left (looks like a pencil and notepad) and scroll down to add bio. Be sure to click “OK” at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
  4. Under “Options” on the right side of the page, click on “My Picture” and upload a photo according to the image dimensions provided on the page.

April 9, 2018:           Speaker Registration Deadline

All speakers must be registered by this date to receive the agreed upon registration discount. Exceptions may not be made.

May 7, 2018:           Presentation Submission Deadline

All presentations must be uploaded to the PLM World website no later than this date for initial review. While we understand security concerns, it is necessary that we review each presentation before it is given to provide a best in class educational experience. For instructions on how to upload your presentation, please visit the Presenter Tip’s website.

May 7, 2018:           AV Equipment Change Request

  • Primary customer presenter of 20-minute Knowledge Theater session receives a 50% discount on registration. Customer primary presenters who present (2) 20-minute Knowledge Theater sessions receive a complimentary registration.
2. Access to the Speaker Ready Room and Volunteer Lounge. Practice your session, get a free coffee or just unwind.

3. Speaker evaluation results will be sent to speaker 30 days after the conclusion of the conference.

Cancellation by Speaker: Speaker agrees to provide twenty-one (21) days written notice of cancellation prior to their first scheduled session and assist PLM World in securing an alternate speaker. If the Speaker cancels their scheduled speaking session, their discounted registration to the event is no longer valid.

Mutual Hold Harmless Clause

Each party shall defend any third party claim against the other party arising from the death of or physical injury to any person or damage to the indemnified party's property or other breach of this contract to the extent proximately caused by the negligence of the indemnifying party or its agents or employees, and indemnify and hold harmless the other party and its respective officers, directors, employees and volunteers from and against damages, liabilities and reasonable costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees incurred in connection therewith.
