Nonprofit Leadership Development Program 2018

Thank you for your interest in Center for Nonprofit Management's Next-Leadership Development Program (NLDP) Class of 2018! We are looking for 35 diverse senior leaders seeking to grow the skills necessary for advancement in their professional careers. This 6-month program combines leadership and skills development, executive coaching, peer learning and networking with hands-on strategic problem solving to prepare the next nonprofit leaders to take on greater responsibilities while working closely with the support of their Executive Directors/Presidents and Board to strengthen their organizations overall.

Enrollment in NLDP is limited to senior and executive-level leaders of color interested in pursuing the Executive Director role. It is targeted at organizations with an annual budget of $750,000 or more. Up to two emerging leaders may be accepted from a single organization.

NLDP is not open to current Executive Directors. Please contact CNM at info@cnmsocal.org for other executive leadership training initiatives.
TO APPLY:
1. Complete the entire application survey below (via SurveyMonkey)
2. Demonstrate the support of your Executive Director for your participation in the program by submitting a signed letter of recommendation from your Executive Director answering the question, "Why is your senior staff member qualified to be part of this unique training opportunity?"
3. Submit a resume
4. Participate in an interview (in-­person or via phone. Interviews will be held in May.)

* A $500 registration fee is required if you are accepted into the program. The program is valued at $2500.
