"Be unconventional. If you must follow convention, you are doomed to conventional results."

In unprecedented fashion, more than 400 bankers and over 700 participants will congregate on Mackinac Island at the Grand Hotel to experience some UN-Conventional Wisdom. This Tri-State Convention of the Michigan Bankers Association, Ohio Bankers League, and the Illinois League of Financial Institutions will be the one event in 2018 you can't afford to miss.

Bring Us Your Creative Ideas - We want your BEST, most INNOVATIVE suggestions. Convention attendees are always seeking new and better strategies for success, and next year we want our program to be so good that bankers can't say no to attending! We're looking for cutting-edge topics, the latest industry trends, stimulating discussion-based sessions and other interesting ideas.

Showcase Your Expertise - The 2018 Convention features eight different breakout sessions – four on each of our general session program days: Wednesday, June 20 and Thursday, June 21. Each session will be approximately 45 minutes in length with a sponsored break before the noted sessions provided by the presenting companies.

As a partner company with our associations, we invite you to submit a proposal for a session delivered by one of your executives on a timely topic of interest. Remember we are looking for relevant and compelling educational content, not a sales pitch.  Research shows that a presentation demonstrating the instructor’s expertise enhances the value of the sales opportunity at a later point.
