The FSPH Ambassador Program is recruiting passionate, involved, dedicated FSPH students who represent the diversity and uniqueness of our school. Working with the Central Student Affairs Office, Career Services and the Alumni/Development Office the FSPH Ambassadors would assist the offices and represent FSPH on student panels, open houses, receptions, workshops and conferences. Ambassadors will assist with the recruitment, retention and mentorship of students. Working closely with the FSPH Career Services Director, ambassadors will receive training and develop leadership skills through collaborating on professional and career development training programs, including creating alumni and employer events. Through their broad diverse experiences, FSPH Ambassadors would assist in creating a strong sense of community at FSPH.
This is a paid position (approximately $15 an hour 10 hours a week). A selected number of students will be contacted for an interview. We hope to hire between 5-6 FSPH students, and one Student Coordinator position overseeing the ambassadors ($18 an hour, 10 hours a week). We encourage all interested students to apply (PhDs, master's, dual degrees). Please email me if you have any questions eyzquierdo@ph.ucla.edu.
Deadline for applying June 30th.
We look forward to your application,
Dr. Liz Yzquierdo
