The New York State 2018 Clinical Conference on HIV and Hepatitis C will take place on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester (125 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14604). The goal of this conference is to enhance the capacity of New York State clinicians to provide high quality and clinically sound HIV and Hepatitis C prevention and care.

This year's conference theme is "Leading the Way to Leave No One Behind." As we reach the halfway point of the Ending the AIDS Epidemic effort as well as the recent launch of the Hepatitis C Elimination Campaign, it is an important time evaluate current efforts to ensure medical providers are doing their part in screening, prevention, and care access. This year's conference seeks to continue this dialogue on the important role of medical providers to ensure health equity for all patients.

How to Submit an Abstract

Due to the clinical focus of our conference, all presentations must be geared towards medical providers (e.g. physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, dentists, and pharmacists). At least one medical provider must be a presenter per abstract.

Abstracts may be submitted for a 60 minute breakout presentation session. Applicants may submit more than one abstract for consideration. Abstracts that utilize a combination of interactive methodologies (mixed methods, case studies, lecture, video, audience response, etc.) are ideal for this conference. Additional information regarding credentials and financial disclosures may be requested for CE application purposes if your abstract is selected. Accepted abstract presenters must submit their presentation slides four weeks before the conference date for CE review and approval.

Suggested abstract topic areas include (but not limited to) the following:
