Election of 2018 Officers and Directors

Now is your chance to contribute to the continuing success of the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS®. Share with the Board some of your time and experience. It’s your Board; you are the backbone of the organization and through your participation you make it strong.

All of us are keenly aware of the importance of each position being filled by those best qualified and willing to serve. Directors and officers represent and speak for all Board members, not merely for themselves or their own firms. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be forward thinking, have a good reputation and a balanced viewpoint. The ideal candidate should also have the courage and skill to offer new ideas, guidance, and proposals to the Board and be knowledgeable, experienced, capable, and active in the real estate industry--a proven performer.

Your participation in the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS® is needed. The Nominating Committee will be putting together a ballot to be voted on by the members. You can signify your willingness to run by simply filling out this application. The Nominating Committee will then rule on the qualifications of each candidate to determine that they meet the criteria outlined below. The election will conclude at the annual business meeting on September 26, 2017. The following positions are available:
President-Elect, one-year term
Secretary, one-year term
Director (3 positions), two-year term
Affiliate Director, one-year term
If you need more information, please call Steven Louchheim at the Board office, 224-7713. The application deadline is Monday, August 14, 2017, 5 p.m.
