Introduction

The LCAP funding is meant to fund extra supports for 1) at-risk student groups over and above the base program that is provided to all students and 2) programs that allow for new innovations and extended programming. With LCAP funds beginning to level off, and the cost of programming continuing to increase, a ranking of current supports is necessary in the event that we will have to make choices.

Our 2018-19 LCAP will have 3 overarching goals:
1) All students will make measurable progress in mastering California Standards, and in graduating from high school college and career ready. (State Priority 1 - Basic Services, Priority 2 - State Standards, Priority 4 - Student Achievement, Priority 5 - Student Engagement, Priority 7 Course Access & Priority 8 - Other Student Outcomes).
2) All students will participate in engaging 21st Century learning environments that cultivate the 6 C's - Character Education, Citizenship, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking and promote their social-emotional well-being. (State Priority 5 - Student Engagement, Priority 6 - School Climate & Priority 7 - Course Access)
3) SCUSD will partner with family, business and community stakeholders to ensure college and career readiness. (State Priority 3 - Parent Involvement)

Thank you for being part of your school site's opportunity to give LCAP feedback on our three goals for 2018-19.  Your input is very important and will be used to update the LCAP as well as inform the Strategic Plan.
