Thank you for applying to be a distribution site for the 2017 Summer Food Program! DCYF is committed to supporting the San Francisco Food Security Taskforce's vision to end hunger by 2020 by collaborating with nutrition education organizations and agencies such as yours to provide free quality meals to youth 18 and under.

This year, the program will run for 12 weeks, from May 30th - August 18th, serving FREE lunches and snacks to youth 18 and under.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to a new SFUSD Wellness policy, programs located at SFUSD sites need to apply through Nutrition Services. Please click on the link below to submit an application for your school-based site. For more information, please contact Sandy at huynhs@sfusd.edu .

According to SFUSD data, over 35,500 youth (61% of enrolled youth) in the City qualify to receive free or reduced-price meals from school. This summer, DCYF will partner with Revolution Foods for lunches and snacks to ensure that youth still have access to nutritious food. All meals served under this program will meet USDA child nutrition program minimum standards. Menus and other details will be discussed at the mandatory training.
