Welcome to 2017 edition of the Working Mother and AVTAR Best Companies for Women in India initiative

Working Mother a division of Bonnier Corporation (US) that works to advocate the cause of working women, and AVTAR - a pioneer in Diversity & Inclusion studies in India that assists discerning organizations in making their workplaces more welcoming for women, join hands once again to launch the second edition of the study in India to recognize and honor companies that successfully help women lead sustainable careers.

This study was launched in the United States in 1986 by Working Mother and in over 31 years of its existence continues to raise awareness of the issues women face in the workplace and encourages the development of programs to address those issues. The inaugural edition of the study in 2016 was extremely well received in corporate India with over 350 companies participating. The key feature of the Working Mother and AVTAR Best Companies for Women in India initiative is that it is entirely an alphabetical listing. Last year’s 2016 Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India (listed alphabetically) are Accenture, Cummins, Deloitte, EY, HUL, IBM, ICICI Bank, Intel, Mindtree, Morgan Stanley and People Combine.
