The Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging (TSLCA) is committed to advancing conversations that help create vibrant, healthy and thriving lifetime communities. We host semiannual regional events and are building a collaborative, community response to meeting the needs of older adults across Northern New England. We regularly engage over 1,500 people from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont through these events, our list-serve, monthly webinars and informative website.   

Across Northern New England, people in more than 150 towns, cities and counties working to make sure older residents can thrive in their homes and communities.  This inspiring movement is being led mostly by older folks who are redefining how we live in community with one another.  They are building transportation networks, running home repair programs, hosting health fairs and educational events, and combatting social isolation and loneliness with programs that engage people at home and in the community.

The primary goal of the TSLCA is to help these community leaders be as effective as possible through shared learning.  The next TSLCA Summit, to be held on November 28th at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland, ME and will be designed to connect community leaders with each other and to valuable tools and information from local, regional and national experts to help them take their work to the next level.

Expected Participants: 300 policy and planning leaders, community-based organizations, aging-in-place community leaders and older adults!

The one-day Summit will run from 9:00 - 4:00 and will have a low cost registration of $40 per participant ($35 for TSLCA members). This fee, which only helps cover the cost of food, allows older adults on fixed incomes to attend. It is critically important to keep fees low as many people will have travel costs. We will also provide scholarships as needed.
