2017 Service to the Flag Award Nomination
The mission of the Service to the Flag annual award is to recognize members who have served national defense and security, supported military service members, and/or facilitated partnerships between industry and the military. As part of our efforts to honor women in defense, Women In Defense reintroduced its Service to the Flag award in 2013, presenting it at the celebration to Hon. Carolyn H. Becraft. Risher, USA (Ret) and Ms. Janice C. Haith. And in 2016 we heard inspiring remarks from and honored the Honorable Christine E.
