We are pleased to announce that the Chambersburg Area School District Foundation, in collaboration with our district, will once again host a "Principal/Administrator for a Day" event on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017. This event places champions for education as well as business and community leaders in Chambersburg schools where they learn about the issues facing today's educators and administrators. It is a unique opportunity to interact one-on-one with the school principal or head teacher and work to create ongoing partnerships that will help both educators and business/community leaders reach mutual goals for success. Participants will be assigned to a school or the administration building and will have an opportunity to communicate with their assigned staff member prior to the event to have a better idea of what to expect. A specific arrival schedule will be shared with each participant. As part of their day they may volunteer as part of a classroom activity or share information about their occupation. At noon, participants will enjoy a “debriefing” luncheon at our Administrative Building at 435 Stanley Avenue with Dr. Joseph Padasak, Superintendent, where experiences and successes will be shared. Participants are free to leave at the conclusion of the luncheon. We hope you will consider helping to make our "Principal/Administrator for a Day” successful.
