Why do this survey?
We would like you to take part in this survey so that our students, parents and teachers have a clear voice in the direction of our Masterplan for buildings and environments.
Baldasso Cortese architects have been engaged by Northcote High School and the Victorian School Building Authority to undertake a campus masterplan to assist in the development of a strategic vision that will inform future planning for the school.
Master planning provides an opportunity to think strategically, long-term, and to align a school’s vision, goals and objectives with the built form. The masterplan will guide future developments for the next 10-15 years.
In summary, the Masterplan will aim to achieve the following:
· provide contemporary learning environments that support the NHS Educational Model.
· provide excellent permanent facilities for the long term enrolment of NHS
· improve the access to and connectivity within the campus
· enhance the character and identity of the campus
· reduce the number of relocatable buildings on the campus
· establish and connect learning areas to outdoor learning environments
· reinforce NHS as part of a community precinct with facilities available for the wider community.
