Thanks for your interest in volunteering!

RASKC is very glad that you're interested in volunteering.

Most of the volunteer opportunities are to work with cats. There are a few opportunities to work with dogs or rabbits.

Many prospective volunteers want to work with cats. If you do, it's essential that you answer Question 10 that asks about your experience with cats, in addition to several other key questions.

If you'd like to work with dogs, please describe the kind of dogs you've worked with (Question 7), in addition to answering several other key questions.

After completing this application, the next step is for you to register and attend a new volunteer orientation. Details on how to find out when new volunteer orientation is taking place and how to register are found in the last section of this application.

All volunteers must have or obtain easy access through the Internet in order to check important emails (schedule change, new rules, etc) and to mark absences and fill-in shifts on your online record. If you do not have Internet at home, you may do so via a friend or family member who does, or the library, if you go there frequently.

Please keep in mind that the primary goal is for volunteers to be helpful to RASKC staff.

This initial application is six pages and contains 24 questions. Depending on the type of animals you're interested in, you may skip some questions and pages. Some questions, however, are required.
