Registration will begin at 7:30am with the Opening Ceremony starting at 8:30am.
Instructor of the Year Submission

All submissions for Instructor of the Year recognition are due by Tuesday, August 1, 2017, and must adhere to the following guidelines:

* Agencies must be under the authority of the MD Police & Correctional Training Commissions.
* Submissions must be completed by a training coordinator, training director, or agency head.
* Only one non-academy and one academy instructor per agency is allowed.
* Only submit instructors within your own agency.
* Honoree may not have received the Instructor of the Year Award in the past 2 years.

* Honorees will be recognized at the Conference as long as they adhere to the above guidelines. A follow-up email will be sent to the agency at a later date to confirm the honoree information. MPCTC will not contact the honoree directly in case the agency would like the recognition to remain a surprise.
* Honorees for Instructor of the Year attend the conference at no charge. However, if attending they will still need to be registered to attend the conference by the agency’s training coordinator once registration is open. Feel free to contact Katie Johnson at with any questions.
