Our Biomedical Career Advancement Program provides students with the opportunity to gain the technical skills needed to work in a research lab, obtain hand-on experience and work alongside a senior faculty mentor at Wayne State University. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to rapidly improve their technical skills in a realistic setting outside of the classroom.

Students selected for the Biomedical Career Advancement Program will be matched with a senior faculty mentor at Wayne State University and assigned independent research projects. Once a week students will engage in round table discussions to discuss their research, career interests, and gain exposure to various bio-medical professions. Students are required to present a poster presentation at Wayne State University's Annual Research Symposium.
