Objective: the competitiveness survey seeks to identify and analyse factors constraining the growth and competitiveness of the  South African agribusiness sector in order to help decision makers design better policies and restore confidence in the sector. The survey focuses on creating an enabling environment, promoting market and operation efficiency.

Methodology: Every two years we ask agribusiness decision-makers to spare us about 20 minutes of their time to complete the    Agribusiness Executive Opinion Survey. The Survey is based on the same methodology of the Executive Opinion Survey, which forms a major component of The Global Competitiveness Report by the World Economic Forum. This survey will form part of the South African Agribusiness Competitiveness Report.
