The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville - Greenville Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. In order to guarantee the integrity of the CME program and ensure its continued ability to provide accredited learning, any person in position to control or influence the content of an activity is required to disclose all financial relationships they have with a defined commercial interest.

The following disclosure is required for all planners, speakers and moderators of a CME activity held between September 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018. 
Any individual who refuses to disclose will be automatically disqualified from the planning and/or delivery of any/all CME accredited learning.

Financial Relationship(s) and Relevant Financial Relationship(s):
Relationship(s) in which the individual, or their spouse/partner, benefits by receiving a salary, royalty, intellectual property rights, consulting fee, honorarium, ownership interest or other financial benefit (e.g., stocks, stock options or other ownership interest, excluding diversified mutual funds). "Relevant" relationships are those in any amount occurring within the past 12 months.


Commercial Interest: Any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services used on or consumed by patients. A provider delivering clinical services directly to patients is not considered to be a commercial interest by the SCMA.
