This annual survey is produced by the Fairfield County Food Council to gauge public interest and awareness of locally produced food. Even if you have completed this survey in previous years, your continued participation is greatly appreciated so that we can compare trends over an extended period of time. For the purposes of this survey, "Local" is defined as Fairfield County and the surrounding immediately adjacent counties.

(A farmers' market is typically an open air market that operates for a specific period of time during the growing season (Typically May - Oct.) where producers and vendors sell directly to the consumer)

(A CSA is a group of members who pledge to support one or more local farms. CSA subscriber provide advance payment to the farmer(s) for an anticipated harvest. In return, subscribers receive weekly shares of produce during the growing season).
