1. Introduction

The purpose of this survey is to estimate and characterize US brewers' hop usage. Brewers Association (BA) compiles this data in order to communicate estimated brewer hop needs with growers & dealers. Providing growers and dealers with specific brewer needs continues to be of vital importance.

** Respondents should be US brewers who opened on or before January 1, 2015 and who operated during all 12 months of 2015. If you were open for less than 12 months of 2015, or if you opened in 2016, please do not respond to this survey this year.

Your participation will help both growers and dealers to anticipate craft brewers' needs and improve communication with individual growers and brokers/dealers.

Your individual replies will be kept confidential, with all responses aggregated into one large data set. One survey response per brewery, please.

This survey is intended to measure US brewer hop usage. Data from breweries outside the US will not be compiled.
