Join us for the first-ever, in-district YWCA Advocacy Day on August 17, 2016! This new event — which serves as this year’s version of Capitol Hill Day but will take place in your home states — is a great opportunity to deepen contacts with Members of Congress at a time of year when they’re typically back at home. It will also allow us to expand our advocacy footprint on paid sick leave, paid family and medical leave, and safe leave, which are legislative priorities in the work and family agenda, as identified through the local association survey for the 114th Congress.
