Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Comprehensive Health Insurance Program (CHIP) children

As you may be aware, the State of Illinois recently changed the eligibility criteria for the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Illinois Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP) continues to meet with state officials to discuss this change. How has this change affected your ability to provide vaccines to Medicaid children?

Continue care as usual prior to October 1 and provide vaccines to all children covered by All Kids.

Continue to see Medicaid and Title XXI/CHIP/State Funded children but not give vaccines to Title XXI/CHIP/State Funded

Continue to see All Kids/Medicaid/CHIP but not provide vaccines at all

Continue to see Medicaid children but reassign Title XXI/CHIP/State Funded children to another provider

No longer accept All Kids in my practice
