Calling All Performing Artists!

Greater Conejo Valley and Ventura County Performing Artists are invited to be a part of the 13th Annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival to celebrate the visual and performing arts of the area.

Applications are due Thursday, July 14, but, if selected, performance slots are assigned on a first come first serve basis so get yours in early! Performances are not paid but the festival provides outstanding exposure. Filling out the application does not guarantee a spot at the Festival. We typically get more applications than we can accommodate.

The Festival is September 17 and 18, 2016, at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Mary and Richard Carpenter Plaza Park, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., and The Lakes at Thousand Oaks. Festival admission is free for the public and hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applications for both the Lakes stage and the Main stage are all in one this year, but you must choose which stage, date, time you prefer.

We are looking for softer vocal or jazzy type musicians for The Lakes stage who would enhance the atmosphere and artists that display there. No loud rock and roll bands will be permitted at The Lakes this year. We are also looking for a single artist or duo to perform in our wine pairing area.

For the Main stage we can open and close with a full band, but in between slots will be held for exceptional and unique performances that can get on and off stage quickly such as dance, choral and theatre groups.
