Flying Dog's annual Northeast Hop Selection is back on Wednesday, September 28 at 10 am. Like last year, the goal is to showcase local hop growers to local breweries while providing an educational and enlightening experience for everyone involved.
At least 10 pounds of processed hops must be available for purchase for a grower to be considered for selection. Each grower will provide a six-ounce sample of each variety for selection, along with the overall amount available, type of process (dried whole cone or pelletized), and starting price per pound.
After the official selection is complete, there will be food, live music, and (of course) beer on the Flying Dog patio.
