ICLRU is planning to expand the number and variety of book clubs available to members.

While there are many types of book clubs and forms of organization, what we are planning is a number of small groups (10-15 participants each) who share a common reading interest and would like to get together periodically to discuss the books they have read and get ideas for future reading material.

Experience of other book clubs has shown that 10-15 is about the right number of participants for a book club. If more than this number is interested in a particular subject, it is a simple matter to add a new group.

At this time we are trying to determine who, and how many, would be interested in joining a book club on one of a number of selected subjects. If interest warrants, other subjects can be added in the future.

The current book club ideas are:

          Mystery

          Science Fiction

          Prize-Winning Books

          Historical Fiction

          Multicultural Themes

          Non-Fiction

Following is a brief survey in which you can express your opinion about the book club concept. Please answer at least the first question or two so that we hear from as many members as possible.
