2013 ASM Showcase Roundtable

3.Introduction

Philadelphia is one of several US cities that hosts the National Afterschool Matters (ASM) Practitioner Fellowship. Out-of-school time (OST) staff and classroom teachers spend a full year attending classes; reading academic papers and research documents; engaging in dialogue, writing exercises, and problem-solving; implementing practitioner research projects of their own; and presenting their work at public Roundtables.

Philadelphia's ASM Program will host a special Showcase Roundtable from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Held at the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, this Roundtable will highlight the ASM research that Fellows completed during (and perhaps continued after) their Fellowship. This Showcase is intended for past Fellows, prospective Fellows, OST and school district staff, administrators, funders, policy-makers, and other stakeholders.

Registration is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
