On behalf of OCLC Americas Regional Council (ARC) Executive and Nominating committees, we are seeking nominations for ARC’s Executive Committee and sixteen Global Council delegates. All staff of OCLC member institutions in Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the United States are invited to submit nominations. The positions that we are seeking nominations for are:

• Vice-chair/Chair-Elect
• Sixteen (16) Global Council Delegates

We encourage you and/or your staff to nominate any colleague from an OCLC member institution in the Americas—or you may nominate yourself. The deadline for submitting nominations is 16 November 2012.

Please submit only one nomination per form. If you would like to nominate more than one individual, complete and submit the form and then re-enter the form using the same link. There is no limit on the number of nominations you may submit.

The Americas Regional Council Nominating Committee will review the nominations they receive. The Nominating Committee will determine the slate of candidates based on submissions, plus they will take into consideration important factors such as geography and library type and size, as outlined in the ARC's bylaws, to ensure a diverse slate of candidates.

Once the Nominating Committee approves the slate, they will announce the candidates who will appear on the ballot by sending a Member Update e-mail and posting the slate of candidates on the OCLC website. This announcement is scheduled for the second week of January. Voting is scheduled to take place from late January through early March 2013, and election results will be announced during the OCLC Global Council Annual Meeting, tentatively planned for 23-24 April 2013.
