Boulder County has invested heavily in creating a bicycle network that allows bicyclists to travel throughout the county safely. For many of our roads, this infrastructure takes the form of paved shoulders. One area where we would like to improve is our maintenance of shoulders and mountain roads, particularly for maintenance needs that impact bicyclists.
