G-191 Incident Command System/Emergency Operations Center Interface-2025&2026 Sessions

NJACCHO is pleased to sponsor the G-191 Incident Command System/Emergency Operations Center Interface training session for
public health officials and others across New Jersey.

Prerequisites:
IS-100: An Introduction to the Incident Command System (most current version)
• IS-200: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response (most current version from an in-person, classroom session)
• IS-700: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System (most current version)
• IS-800: National Response Framework (NRF), An Introduction (most current version)
• IS-2200 Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions
If you have not yet met the pre-requisites, they must be completed prior to the first day of the course

These full day (9:00am - 5:00pm), will be held on one day.

Sessions will be held:
1. December 9, 2025 at Middlesex County College, Edison Campus
2. January 29, 2026 at Route 12 County Complex, Flemington
3. February 6, 2026, at the Ocean County Fire & First Aid Training Center in Waretown
4. February 11, 2026, Camden County Sustainability Building, Blackwood

The goal of this professional development course, G0191 Incident Command System/
Emergency Operations Center Interface, is to enable students to develop an effective interface
between the Incident Command/Unified Command and the Emergency Operations Center
by applying National Incident Management System principles.

At the end of the course, you should be able to:
-Explain the course structure and potential ICS/EOC interface challenges.
-Explain key NIMS concepts, command and coordination systems, and structures.
-Analyze given scenarios to determine commonalities and potential interface issues between ICS and EOCs.
-Explain the respective roles and interconnectivity of the NIMS command and coordination systems in coordination.
-Contrast the typical role and functions of the Incident Command and the EOC during emergency operations.
-Analyze given scenarios to apply ICS/EOC interface concepts.
-Develop an ICS/EOC interface action plan for your community.
-Summarize the course objectives.
