Calling all trainers Come compete for prizes and bragging rights at our Trainer Throwdown!
Contestants have up to 12 minutes to show us something from their professional bag of tricks; it could be a killer icebreaker, a way to engage the audience, a coaching technique, or anything else that will WOW the audience.
Contestants will be judged on:
1) Originality
ideas are innovative and novel; not borrowed from others.
2) Knowledge of the subject
Makes connections between related concepts; and combines with new concepts. Designs and critiques meaningful activities.
3) Learning Value
Applies Adult Learning Theory by creating meaning and value to group by connecting content to a learning purpose.
4) Engagement
Delivery methods engage diverse learning styles and preferences; and delivery demonstrates adaptability to audience needs.
5) Audience Connection
Demonstrates ability to connect to audience members on a personal and individual level , creating inclusion throughout presentation.
