Alberta Ride for Sight - Northern Alberta (July 9, 2016), Southern Alberta (July 24, 2016)

Ride for Sight is a celebration for all fundraisers who collect donations and is a volunteer-driven event. The success of Ride for Sight is largely dependent on the assistance of our great event volunteers.

A couple of key points to note

• At the completion of your shift, you must check out at registration to pick up your food voucher.

* 8. Thank you for being a volunteer at Ride for Sight. Carefully read over the volunteer guidelines so that you are aware of the duties and responsibilities required of all volunteers.

1. Check in at the Volunteer Office.

- Sign in before the start of your shift. (You must sign in if you are a volunteer.)
- A Volunteer Profile Sheet MUST be completed in advance of your shift. Please report any changes (i.e: address, phone number).
- If you are a volunteer with emergency and first aid training, you will be supplied with visible identification. 
- Check your schedule to be advised of any changes

2. Your Supervisor and task will be identified. Please report to them after signing in.

3. At the end of your shift please report back to the office to return any equipment and to sign out.

4. As a Ride for Sight Volunteer, you represent the entire organization. While Ride for Sight is a fun and exciting event, you have signed up to be a part of the Ride for Sight Team! Please be responsible.

- Treat all employees, participants, volunteers and especially riders with respect and courtesy. Should problems arise please report them to your Supervisor immediately.
- Being under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substance during your scheduled shift is strictly prohibited at Ride for Sight, and will result in immediate removal from the grounds and permanent removal from Ride for Sight.
- Dress Code: You will be provided a Volunteer Shirt which you will wear during your shifts. Please do not wear the volunteer shirt when you are off duty.

By submitting this form, I agree to be a Ride for Sight Volunteer and will adhere to the above terms and guidelines. Should I fail to commit to the policies of Ride for Sight I will not hold the organization or its members responsible for my actions.
