116th Congress New Representative Scholarship Program for the 2019 Legislative Conference

Legislative Conference Application

The American Academy of Pediatrics Legislative Conference will take place in Washington, DC April 7-9, 2019. During the conference, participants will learn how to become effective child health advocates through interactive workshops and in-depth training sessions, while networking with pediatricians, residents and medical students from across the country. On the final day of the Conference, participants meet with their Congressional offices on Capitol Hill. (Click here to learn more about the Conference).

This year we have a unique opportunity to introduce the AAP to new members of the 116th Congress! Thanks to the AAP Friends of Children Fund, we are offering registration scholarships to the 2019 Legislative Conference for AAP members who reside in these members' districts. The funding and capacity is limited, but we will review applications on a rolling basis until February 28th or until our funds are exhausted. If you have any questions please email LegislativeConference@aap.org. This scholarship covers the full registration fee to attend the conference. Awardees will be responsible for travel and housing.
