About the 100 Committed Women Program
Thank you for applying to the 100 Committed Women to Lead Health Information Management program. Below is a synopsis of the program followed by questions where you can provide information about yourself, your experiential background and your leadership aspirations. Applications for the 2017 program close September 30, 2016 and you will be notified of your status on or before October 15, 2016.

Program Overview
The 100 Committed Women To Lead the Future of Health Information Management Program is open to all highly motivated and forward thinking women health information management professionals who:
- Have five years or more of demonstrated leadership experience in health information management
- Hold an RHIA credential from the American Health Information Management Association or international equivalent
- Have a drive and passion for practice excellence and for making a positive impact and furthering health information management at the senior and executive levels organizational levels
- Have a commitment to advancing their career to executive leadership in health information management
- Can commit to 100 percent participation and attendance in the program
Participation in the program is selective and by nomination or invitation only.
The 100 Committed Women Program is a rigorous and intensive six-month distance and onsite developmental program focused on the variables most relevant to leadership development with emphasis on building confidence and leveraging personal strengths, increasing emotional intelligence and mindful practice, and developing a personal leadership vision and taking action to achieve it. The program goal is to help women in health information management fulfill their leadership potential and to build a pipeline of women leaders who are ready to assume senior and executive leadership positions in health information management. This is accomplished by developing and strengthening authentic, ethical, and transformational leadership behaviors so that program graduates excel in developing collaborations and coalitions and leading positive change in health information management from the highest organizational levels.
Graduates of the program are expected to advance a personal career agenda for securing senior and/or executive leadership positions in health information management in private/governmental sectors. They are also expected and to take on state-wide, national and international volunteer leadership positions within non-profit healthcare and health information management related organizations within 12 months of program completion.
