SurveyMonkey Measures: Pro Football

While most of us are sorry to see summer end, for football’s devoted fans, fall can’t come soon enough. But luckily for them, football season is upon us. For the next 17 weeks, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights will be spent with eyes on the gridiron. We decided to take a closer look at this game that captures hearts, minds, and with the rise of fantasy football, money.

In partnership with CBSSports.com, we sought opinions about the upcoming season from two groups: 1172 football fans and 667 even more devoted fantasy football players.
The end results? SurveyMonkey Measures™: Pro Football—where we’ll cover everything from favorite players, coaches, logos, and of course, which team would be left standing on Super Bowl Sunday.

We’ll be reporting on this topic over the course of the season. So as you’re checking the score of the game, check back here to see the latest trends and predictions as the season unfolds.

In the meantime, here are America’s predictions for 2016. You’ll notice a lot of the same teams and names repeated over and over again—sometimes in both positive and negative categories. For example, there’s Adrian Peterson, the running back who was named most valuable and most overrated. Clearly fan rivalries are already heating up.

Right now it’s looking pretty good for New England fans, but as we all know, that can change in an instant.

Read on to see how your favorites fared.
