SurveyMonkey’s weekly polling (ending Thursday June 15) finds 43% of adults nationwide approve of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president and 55% disapprove.
That result is a 2 percentage point uptick in approval and 2-point decline in disapproval since last week. Trump’s ratings had varied between 40 and 42% for the past 5 weeks.
This week’s rating marks a return to the middle of the range of the Trump ratings tracked by SurveyMonkey, which have varied between 40 and 47% since early February.

Methodology: This SurveyMonkey Tracking poll was conducted online June 9 through June 15, 2017 among a national sample of 17,092 adults ages 18 and up. Respondents for this survey were selected from the nearly 3 million people who take surveys on the SurveyMonkey platform each day. Data for this week have been weighted for age, race, sex, education, and geography using the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey to reflect the demographic composition of the United States. The modeled error estimate for this survey is plus or minus 1.5 percentage points.
