Our semi-annual consumer results are in! SurveyMonkey Audience teamed up with Blueshift Research, an investment research firm, to deliver another report tracking monthly consumer trends affecting the marketplace.
In June, we surveyed 1,129 U.S. consumers on topics including social media ad engagement, environmental conscience, and the trustworthiness of different review websites.
Blueshift Research analyzed the data and reported their findings on how these trends affect businesses and investors.
What did our semi-annual consumer report uncover? Here are a few highlights:
- 18% of consumers are buying products through social media ads
- Almost 40% of consumers are willing to spend more money on products that are better for the environment
- Google remains the most trusted review site, although Yelp is catching up
