Our Methodologist Named President of Survey Research Association, PAPOR

Our goal is to help you make better and smarter decisions thanks to the real, actionable data collected from the surveys that you create. Sharing best practices in survey design and how to write the kind of quality questions that will get you high quality responses, all play central roles in our overall goal as well. If you’re reading this then we’re hoping that you’re a big fan of this blog–don’t forget to subscribe for all the latest news–and so you may already be familiar with our Survey Science posts.

Sarah ChoSurvey Science breaks down the yep, you guessed it, science that lives inside the practice of survey design and research. The posts are authored by our in-house methodology and survey research team. We hope that they provide you with the tools you need to conduct top notch research and winning surveys for whatever your survey goals may be.

On this note, we’re very proud that one of our methodology monkeys, Sarah Cho, has recently been named President of PAPOR. PAPOR stands for the Pacific chapter of the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR), the leading association of public opinion and survey research professionals. Who are the people that make up AAPOR?

“The AAPOR community includes producers and users of survey data from a variety of disciplines. Our members span a range of interests including election polling, market research, statistics, research methodology, health related data collection and education.”

Sarah brings a wide range of experience in survey research and methodology to the Monkey. With her appointment as President of the go-to place for other research professionals, expect to see a wealth of resources and expert information come your way on the kinds of topics discussed above and more.

Happy surveying and congratulations, Sarah!
