The Role

The Growth Team at SurveyMonkey is a cross functional group of Engineers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Analysts that are focused on accelerating SurveyMonkey’s paid customer growth. We are primarily focused on our self-serve survey product - the product we’re most well-known for - but we have the ability to work across all product lines when the right opportunity presents itself.

As a team we experiment across our product with the aim of making our product a simpler, faster, more intuitive platform to use. And, we measure our success in terms of how many new customers we acquire, and how well we retain the customers we have

This role would be responsible for creating and executing an experimentation roadmap with the goal of making SurveyMonkey a tool one can’t live without. Ultimately, success in this role is increasing our paid user base be it through acquisition, engagement or retention.

We are looking for an experienced, eager, persistent, entrepreneurial, customer-focused individual that can draw on relevant experience to kick our growth initiatives into higher gear. You will need to build alignment with your stakeholders, and be willing to drive ahead when others may be uncomfortable.

There are no shortage of opportunities: from eliminating friction in high-traffic funnels, to partnering on opportunities with SEO/SEM teams to increase program efficiency, to driving cross-sell/up-sell strategies, to growing awareness and usage of key features within our product, we have a lot of potential levers to pull. 


  • 3+ years in Product Management, Analytics, or Growth Product Design at a company with a lot of traffic/users.
  • Proven track record of shipping product features that deliver results.
  • Experience building across platforms (desktop, mobile web, app)
  • Proven ability to influence executives and team leaders on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with experimentation is a must. Strong bias for using data to guide decision making.
  • A willingness to be bold
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
  • Passion for building products that unlock value for people who are not power users.
  • SQL, Google Analytics/Event Tracking, Financial analysis/case experience are all pluses
  • Bachelor or Master degree in quantitative or engineering related field
