When we were kids, our parents made sure we had at least one annual checkup with a doctor. But as we grow older, we have a tendency to not keep up with this healthy habit.
That’s why most healthcare professionals stress the importance of regular exams, and we think the same about the health of your SurveyMonkey account—it needs a regular checkup too.
For example, you wouldn’t want to hit a bump when you’re upgrading due to an incorrect billing address, or find that you were not receiving your password request emails because the email address you signed up with is one you don’t use anymore.
But fear not. We have the perfect remedy to diagnose and treat your SurveyMonkey account. Let’s dive into some of common symptoms of a sickly account—and give you a prescription for maintaining your account—STAT.
Symptom #1: Your account lists an email with a typo or an email you no longer have access to
To change your username, contact email, billing contact email, password, or other account preferences for SurveyMonkey, log in and take these 3 simple steps:
1. Click your Username in the top right of your account
2. Choose My Account
3. Click the Edit button on any of the sections in the Account Summary tab that need to be updated
Symptoms #2 & #3: Your billing information is outdated
If you’re experiencing either of the following…
- The billing contact is not reflective of the person who manages company invoices
- The billing address does not match the billing address of credit card on file
…you need to edit your billing information by simply following the first two steps mentioned, only this time you’ll click into the Billing Details tab:
By dealing with these symptoms right away, you’ll protect the health of your account and dramatically reduce your risk for potential frustrations. And you’ll feel right as rain knowing that you, and your account, are given a clean bill of health and a bright surveying future!
