In 2003, the Baylor College of Medicine revamped the Pepsi Challenge and found that, just like in the late 1970s and early 1980s, in blind taste tests, participants overwhelmingly liked Pepsi more than Coke.

  • One thing you have to note as well. Your brand strategy has to have a goal of the picture you want to present to your customers.

    If the emotion, the impression they get when hearing about your brand is different to what your goal was (and it’s not a necessary step towards your goal), your branding isn’t working as it should.

    There is another con with the agency – branding is really expensive, and you need to be careful which one you choose. You may be investing double the amount of money you would have on the DIY and get a worse job than one you could do yourself. The reason for it – you do know the ins and outs of your company, and if they’re not good in searching for them as an agency, they’ll do a bad job
