A pressing question on everyone’s minds as summer approaches is, of course, which beer to buy? Mother Road Mobile Canning teamed up with SurveyMonkey Audience to learn that beer buyers are choosing smaller craft beer brewers over the big beer names. But second to taste, the cost of beer is still something people consider when they buy. Either way, it looks like a lot of people will be cracking open some cold ones while they’re partying outside this summer. (95% of people said they drink beer when they’re at a BBQ or picnic.)
Here’s what else we found:
63% of people prefer beers produced by small independent breweries over large, mainstream ones. (Tweet this.)
55% of people buy beer in six-packs while 34% buy several six-packs, 24-packs, or more at a time. (Tweet this.)
47% say they drink more beer in the summer than at any other time of year. (Tweet this.)
85% of people said taste was most important when choosing a beer. (Tweet this.)
