Video Tutorial: How to Embed Videos in Your Survey

Are you an aspiring filmmaker? An iMovie pro? Or maybe you’re just a YouTube fiend.

It’s no secret–video is in demand! And lately, we’ve been getting lot of requests from some cinema-savvy customers who would like to get feedback on their video files.

Steve–one of our customer support rockstars–decided to show us how, using his favorite YouTube video: Nyan Cat.

So, how can you add videos to your surveys? First, make sure you have one of our pro plans. Next, take a spin through the video below to find out how:

Need another look? Just follow these quick and easy steps:
  1. Make sure you’ve enabled HTML in your account.
  2. Click Create Survey to begin creating a survey, or click Design Survey if you’re already working on one.
  3. From here, click Add Question.
  4. From the question type drop-down menu, select Descriptive Text and paste your video’s embed code.

    So the video has to be on Youtube, Vimeo or another online video sharing site? There is no way of using a video on your own network?

      Hi Chris, thanks for your question. Currently, we only have the capability to add video from external sites like YouTube, Vimeo, Yahoo Video, Google Video, etc. We’ll take your feedback to our Product Team and let us know if you ever have any other questions!

    i’ve viewed steve’s video before, but today when i went to watch again, it doesn’t seem to be showing up on the page. i can grab it if i vew page source, but something seems to be preventing it from just showing up, fyi.
