Great news, survey fans!

When you send your survey to a targeted group of respondents using SurveyMonkey Audience, now we automatically provide five pieces of demographic data directly into your survey results: gender, age, educational level, household income, and the US census region of every finished respondent.

These five key pieces of information will automatically appear right along with the rest of your survey’s response data.

What does this mean exactly?

Well, remember that making a survey is as easy as 1, 2, 3: first you Create your survey; then you Collect responses; and finally, you Analyze results. And as some of you may already know, we’ve got a new survey tool out that our Product and Engineering monkeys have been working super hard on to further improve your design experience, called Analyze Beta.

The spiffy new analysis tool gives your data a fresh, modern look, improved functionality and many more impressive chart types to choose from. This is where the magic of our imported demographic data all happens.

A picture’s worth a thousand words, so check it out:

As you can see, we automatically import those five important pieces of data–gender, age, educational level, household income, US census region–so you don’t have to!

Using survey design tools like filtering and comparing means you can easily see the differences and trends among your various segments–such as the contrast between males and females, various age groups, and so much more.

Also, with just a few clicks inside Analyze Beta, you’ll be able to get your hands on eight– yep, eight!– customizable chart types as well as table display options, which allows you to either show or hide charts and tables for any of your questions.

Ready to start? You can learn more about SurveyMonkey Audience here and as always, let us know if you have any questions or comments!

Don’t forget to check out the new Analyze Beta if you haven’t already and sign up today!
