Last week, SurveyMonkey employees had the honor of hearing Kris Sulpizio, the Director of Volunteer Services from Second Harvest Food Bank, speak about her organization’s work in providing food to an average of nearly a quarter of a million people each month.
Based in California’s Bay Area, in 2011 Second Harvest distributed 45 million pounds of nutritious food to low-income people in need in every zip code of their service area from Daly City to Gilroy. Second Harvest also plays a leading role in promoting federal nutrition programs and educating families on how to make healthier food choices.
Check out the following video to learn more about the efforts of Second Harvest Food Bank, and find out what advice Kris has for non-profits interested in using SurveyMonkey.
